About Me
My passion for sewing and design has held my interest since the age of 8.
After serving in the United States Air Force I attended Bowling Green State University where I studied Fashion Merchandising and Costume Construction and Design.
I started Buttons to Bridal in 2012 when my youngest child entered Kindergarten and have been serving the Lowell area and beyond with professional tailoring services ever since.
My creative approach and efficient workmanship are the key ingredients of my success.
I work with each one of my customers to tailor each garment to their specific body type. Or construct a one of a kind creation. My clients always leave my home office feeling great about the fit of the garment. Contact me today to set up an appointment.

First Fittings and Beyond
What to Expect
For Bridal and Other Special Occasion Garments:
Please schedule Bridal Gowns at least two months prior to the wedding and one month for other special occasion garments.
At your first fitting you should bring the shoes you plan to wear and any special undergarments, like spanx or bra. Optionally, you can bring any accessories you would like to try on with your garment. Fittings are a perfect time to play dress up. A deposit of half the total cost is also needed at your first fitting.
After you arrive I will set you up in my fitting room where you can change into your garment. We will then determine exactly what needs to be done to make your garment fit how you want it. I will explain to you how I plan to tailor your garment and what to expect at your next fitting.
I like to schedule fittings every two weeks if possible.
While most garments only require one fitting, bridal gowns usually require 3-5 fittings.
Feel free to bring friends and family to your fittings. This is such a wonderful experience I would love to have them share in it with you.
For one of a kind construction we will need to sit down and discuss what your needs are, draw pictures, take measurements and look at swatches. This is a truly an amazing experience that may take extra time. So, whenever possible, contact me sooner than later.
